Seabrook Island Golf

What makes Seabrook Island a golfer’s paradise? Uncrowded playing conditions, 36 holes of championship golf, and two uniquely different courses. Both Seabrook Island courses will exceed your expectations in beautiful, undisturbed natural surroundings with challenging play. Resort guests always enjoy a level of privacy that ensures a refreshing pace of play and available replay rounds with superb service.

Our recently renovated state-of-the-art practice facility includes a 40,000 sq. ft. practice tee, an adjacent fairway bunker, 5 target greens, 2 large putting greens totaling over 18,000 sq. ft., and a separate short game area with 3 bunkers, a short fairway, and a 3,000 sq. ft. green.

Private and group instruction and tournament coordination are also available from our PGA professionals. Seabrook Island is a certified member of the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program for golf courses. Seabrook Island was the first golf facility to receive this recognition in the state of South Carolina and 75th in the U.S.

Audubon Designation

Living among wildlife is a hallmark of life at Seabrook Island. People have been protecting the wildlife since the development of the island began. In 1996, Seabrook Island’s golf courses became the first in South Carolina, and 75th in the U.S., to become a certified member of the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program for Golf.

Sean Hardwick, Director of Golf Maintenance at Seabrook, says membership in the organization is a big responsibility. “We do everything possible to benefit the environment,” explains Hardwick. “That includes limiting chemicals used on our golf courses. Since the natural setting is what sets Seabrook apart, we try to provide as much native habitat as we possibly can.”
